New York, Feb 14: Troubled popstar Britney Spears’ first hubby, Jason Alexander has revealed that she doesn’t want custody of her kids and has actually given up fighting for them. Alexander, who was married to the 26-year-old singer for just 55 hours, has revealed that the singer does not want to be a full-time mom. The Louisiana native has spoken to Touch Magazine about Britney’s custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline saying that she can "always have other kids." Alexander, who was also Britney’s childhood friend, seems to have renewed his friendship with the ‘Toxic” star and has claimed that "she doesn't want the kids back.” "She wants to see them, but she doesn't want to be a full-time mom. She said it doesn't matter if she doesn't get them back full time, and that she can always have other kids later on,” the New York Post quoted Alexander, as saying. Spears lost the right to visit her sons last month (Jan08) after a stand-off with police and paramedics at the end of a visitation term. Before that she was stripped of physical custody after failing to adhere to court-ordered testing. Alexander also claimed that she is fully aware that she is mentally ill, saying: "She does want to get better. She doesn't sound as crazy right now as she did three weeks ago, but she's not right. She isn't well enough to know what she wants." He also said that he and his ex have been speaking since Christmas: "I got a phone call, a voice mail, that said, 'Hey! It's me. I know we haven't spoken in a while.' It was Britney. She said she'd call me back, and we've been speaking ever since." Alexander also revealed that Spears "misses" her kids, however, he added: "I don't think she should have full custody because she needs to focus on her." Bureau Report
