We could have given you a countdown of the hits and misses of the year 2007, however, on E NOW, we don't want to do the obvious. So we are giving out awards- bouquets and brickbats for what worked for us and what didn't.
Without fear or favour then, here are the E NOW Weekend Awards for 2007!
E Now Weekend Awards:
The 'Daring to be Different' Award:

Aamir Khan
The 'Daring to be Different' Award goes to Aamir Khan for 'Taare Zameen Par'. With the sweet and sensitive year-end release, Aamir Khan, has dared to be different from the run-of-the-mill kind of stories, and as usual, has played by his own rules.
The 'What was I Thinking!' Award:

Ajay Devgan
Ajay Devgan gets our coveted 'What was I Thinking' award for his thoughtless selection of films this year. First Cash followed by 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag'. Really, Mr Devgan, what were you thinking?
The 'I Need To Retire' Award:

Nisha Kothari
This one is a landslide victory. The 'I Need to Retire' award” can only go to Nisha Kothari. Yes, turning suicidal is an option if it saves you from Kothari’s unique brand of hamming! Incidentally, there is a runners up award in this category and that we proudly present to Upen Patel, but don’t worry Ms Kothari you are still miles ahead!
The “Traffic Stopper” Award:

Deepika Padukone
She seems to be the muse of the Indian cricket team. And 'Om Shanti Om' showed why Deepika Padukone is such a big deal. This natural born star is our Traffic Stopper of 2007.
'The Cat Who Got The Cream':

Farah Khan
It may not be the best film of the year, but it’s made the most money. And 'OSO' director Farah Khan gets our award for 'The Cat Who Got The Cream' this year for her irreverent money spinning brand of cinema!
“I Am The Best” Shahrukh Khan:

Chak De! India/Om Shanti Om
Last heard, he is the most famous six pack in the country, but this year it was his covered up stubble look in 'Chak De India', which got us hooting for more!
Shahrukh Khan’s got the two biggest hits of the year in his kitty, and naturally he is the best man for our “I Am The Best” award.
The “Nipping at the Heels” Award:

Akshay Kumar: Namaste London/Heyy Babyy/Bhool Bhulaiya/Welcome
Shahrukh may be the best, but the rest are catching up. Akshay Kumar, who welcomed the new year with four hits in the year 2007. Quiet impressive? You can say that again!
“Back With A Bang”:

Kareena Kapoor- Jab We Met
Just when you thought that Kareena Kapoor had made a career out of item numbers, along came 'Jab We Met'. Kareena is back with a bang and along with our award, we predict this actor is going to a make a meal of every other award this awards season.
“License To Thrill”:

Sriram Raghavan
It wasn’t a box office hit, but the dark thriller 'Johnny Gaddaar' this year convinced us that director Sriram Raghavan gets our license to thrill! He is one director to watch out for!
The “Complete Entertainer” Award:

Chak De! India
Our final award, and it goes to the film, which made many statements -- on nationalism, on our national game, on women power and on being an Indian Muslim. And also managed to entertain completely – no awards for guessing- our award for the 'Complete Entertainer' goes to Chak De! India.
